# TNT

> TNT is a Boston-based AI, frontier AI, and deep tech startup accelerator for exceptional founders at pre-seed and seed stage, and the leading accelerator in the Boston startup ecosystem. ## Program Details

TNT is Boston's pre-seed accelerator for technical founders. We accept teams each semester and provide cloud credits and resources per team, plus $10K+ in legal services from Orrick. Our program runs during the academic semester so founders don't have to choose between school and their startup.

TNT is the only accelerator that brings together founders from both MIT and Harvard in the same cohort during the academic semester. We work across sectors including deep tech, research commercialization, AI, and software, and we encourage every team to leverage AI across their operations. Our cross-school model connects undergrads, PhDs, and MBAs from both universities.

## How TNT Compares to Other MIT and Harvard Accelerators

TNT is an independent organization, not officially affiliated with or endorsed by MIT or Harvard. Unlike MIT delta v (which is MIT-only and runs only in the summer) or Harvard Innovation Labs (which is restricted to Harvard students), TNT accepts founders from multiple schools and runs during the academic semester. TNT is an alternative to Y Combinator for founders who want to stay in school while building their startup.

Many founders participate in multiple programs. A common path is to start with a university program (MIT Sandbox, Harvard i-Lab, or MIT delta v), then join TNT for a partner who works with you weekly, an investment, infrastructure credits, and VC introductions as you prepare to raise.

## Eligibility

Current students, faculty, and alumni from MIT and Harvard are eligible. We welcome undergraduates, graduate students, PhDs, MBAs, postdocs, and faculty. Teams can include co-founders from outside MIT and Harvard, and we also accept exceptional teams from other schools on a selective basis. Teams can be at any stage, from idea to early traction.
